There is no single best gym software - there is the one that fits how your gym bills, who checks in at your door, and what you will need in two years. Here is the checklist to judge any vendor by, including us.

Every gym software vendor claims to be the best gym software, which makes the phrase useless as a way of choosing one. What actually decides it is narrower: whether the invoice it produces satisfies your accountant, whether it talks to the biometric machine already on your wall, and whether you can get your data back out if you leave.
This is the checklist we would want a gym owner to hold us to. Work through it with any shortlist, including Fitplex, and the answer usually becomes obvious.
Per-member pricing is the first. It looks cheap at 80 members and becomes your third-largest software cost at 600, which means the software is charging you for succeeding. Fitplex is priced per gym: the same plan covers a 150-member studio and a 700-member floor.
Data lock-in is the second, and it is quieter. Plenty of gym software will import your data enthusiastically and offer no way to export it. That is not an oversight, it is the retention strategy. Ask about export before you sign, not when you want to leave.
Fitplex is built for Indian gyms specifically: GST billing and UPI, WhatsApp rather than email as the primary channel, diet plans built on an Indian food database, and integration with the eSSL and ZKTeco hardware Indian gyms actually run.
It is not the right answer for everyone. If you need a global multi-currency chain platform, or your gym runs entirely on paper and you want it to stay that way, other tools fit better. If you are an Indian gym trying to stop revenue leaking through missed renewals and unenforced expiries, that is the problem it was built for.
The honest test is the checklist above. Score us on it.
There is no single best gym software: the right one depends on how your gym bills, which attendance hardware you own, and whether you plan to add branches. Judge any vendor on GST-compliant invoicing, WhatsApp automation on an approved Business API, attendance that works with your existing hardware, a real member app, free data migration with export available, per-gym rather than per-member pricing, and support you can reach.
Look for a published price rather than a quote that depends on your member count, because per-member pricing scales against you as you grow. Fitplex publishes its plans openly on the pricing page, charges per gym rather than per member, and has no setup fee.
Usually not. The cost that hurts is not the licence fee, it is the revenue that leaks through missed renewals, expired members still training, and cash that never reaches the books. Software that closes those gaps pays for itself well before the difference in licence price matters.
Ask to see a real GST invoice their software generated, what it costs per year with all modules included, whether there is any per-member charge, who does the data migration and what it costs, how you export your data if you leave, whether it works with your existing biometric hardware, and whose name is on the member app.
It should. Fitplex connects to standard eSSL and ZKTeco devices over the ADMS push protocol, so in most cases the reader on your wall keeps working. Any vendor requiring you to replace working hardware is adding a cost you should question.
With assisted migration, most gyms are live within about 24 hours. Fitplex moves member profiles, plans, invoices, pending dues and attendance history free of charge from Excel, CSV or a database backup, and extracts the data for you if your current software has no export function.
You should never buy gym software you have not run on your own data. Fitplex offers a 14-day free trial with no card required, and free migration means you can trial it with your real member list rather than dummy records.
Choosing on feature-list length instead of on the two or three things that actually leak money in their gym, and not asking about data export until they want to leave. A shorter tool that enforces expiry at the door and chases renewals automatically beats a longer feature list that nobody configures.
